Hello.

It is getting colder and the sunrise is later so it is hard to get out of bed in the morning. It is easy to get cold in winter therefore we need to keep our immune system functioning. Vegetables have vitamins, minerals, diallyl disulfide, fibers etc. and they help improve our immune function. A great way to get your daily requirements and keep warm is through soup.

Ingredients

  • 300ml water

  • 200ml soy milk

  • 1 tablespoon of miso

  • 1 teaspoon of fish stock

  • ½ onion

  • ½ carrot

  • 3 to 4 leaves of Chinese cabbage

  • ⅓ tofu

Recommend additional ingredients

  • 100g seafood marinara mix

  • 1 tablespoon of shredded ginger

You can add other vegetables

  1. Cut vegetables

  2. Boil water and vegetables

  3. When vegetables are soft, add fish stock, cut tofu and soy milk.

  4. When soup is boiled, turn off the fire and melt miso.

Useful Tips

  • If you put the lid on the pot after adding soy milk and the soup is boiling, it might be overflowing. Please add soy milk after vegetables are cooked and keep your eyes on soup until it boils.

  • If you add a lot of vegetables, the taste of soup might be weak. Please adjust miso or fish stock accordingly.
