I love sesame dressing, black sesame ice cream and sesame dumplings. My husband always looks for sesame ice creams when he is in Japan.
It is said that we better consume 2 tablespoons of sesame a day. Today, I will talk about sesame.
Protein is one of the three major nutrients in our food and it is necessary to obtain proteins for our body. Proteins are chains made up of amino acids linked together. Sesame contains well-balanced essential amino acids that are not produced in our body. Two tablespoons of sesame with Tofu a day contain a fifth of your daily protein requirements.
Sesame is rich in calcium. Just two tablespoons of sesame has the calcium equivalent to one glass of milk. Iron deficiency is common for women and sesame has it so regular intake of iron is important to prevent iron deficiency.
Our body is getting old every day and it is impossible to stop. It is said that sesame has antioxidants which work for anti aging.
Sesame has a lot of benefits for women. However, sesame has a hard skin and it disturbs absorption if we intake sesame seeds without processing. Therefore it is recommended to stick to grounded sesame seeds or the intake sesame paste.
Now I will share with you my Sesame dressing with Tahini!
All you need to do is mix the following ingredients to your taste. It's great to put on salads and cold tofu.
Sesame dressing Ingredients

2 tablespoons of tahini
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 tablespoons of vinegar
1 tablespoon of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 tablespoon of Mirin
½ tablespoons of sesame oil
Pinch of salt
